Recently I've discovered the wonders of using a midi keyboard with a virtual instrument. I can't believe it took me so long to start using it! I love midi! I'm not great with precise timing when playing the keyboard, so midi is a godsend. Not to mention you can link your notes with any instrument you have. COMBINED with The digital audio workstation Reaper I've been able to make it sound like I can really play. I'll post what I've done shortly for anyone who enjoys instrumental stuff. My reason for wrighting however is to ask about midi accessibility. Put simply, does anyone know if there is any accessible way to move, select or otherwise manipulate midi notes using the pc keyboard? I se enough to do this visually with the mouse, but I know a keyboard would make things way faster. It doesn't have to be with Reaper by any means. I mainly want to know if it is possible. Also, does anyone know if there are any accessible virtual instrument plugins? I've got a fantastic one right now, but once more's no keyboard accessibility whatsoever.

For accessible MIDI notation and manipulation, take a look at QWS.
